Description
English: Operation Proper Exit participant Sgt. Ethan Payton, a Milford, N.J. native, fires a SIG Sauer pistol Oct. 16, at a firing range on the Iraqi Security Operations Force range at Victory Base Complex in Baghdad. Payton lost his left arm below the elbow when he was struck by a rocket propelled grenade during an ambush June 2004 in Baghdad. Operation Proper Exit is a program that allows wounded Warriors to return to the places they were injured while serving in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
