Summary[edit]

Description
English: Print of a large number of Union soldiers preparing for an attack. Most of the soldiers are lined up along a blockade, several are preparing to fire a cannon, and another group of soldiers is entering the scene from outside of the frame. Several American flags are visible along the blockade. "AWAITING THE ATTACK. INFANTRY." and "Copy-righted 1877 by E. Forbes, 13 Barclay St. N.Y." (printed below image).
