Description
English: Group portrait of militia soldiers and officers in uniform standing and sitting with stack of rifles and drummer boy with drum. A soldier near the tent in the background is supporting a Union flag and is holding a bouquet of flowers. Two civilian men are in the background. "Camp Lewis 1st Regt. 'Mo State Guards' Col A. R. Easton St. Louis Fairgrounds 1860" (written on reverse side). Camp Lewis was at the St. Louis Fairgrounds. This photograph appears to be a group of soldiers, officers and staff of the 1st Regiment, Missouri State Militia.
