Українська: «Сьогодні я ухвалив рішення про відсторонення від посади Генерального прокурора та про усунення голови Служби безпеки України. Я відвідав прифронтові регіони – найскладніші. Особисто розбирався з діяльністю зокрема й правоохоронних органів. За результатами цього, як ви вже знаєте, були ухвалені кадрові рішення щодо регіональних керівників сектору безпеки – Херсон, Харків. Конкретні дії та будь-яка бездіяльність кожної посадової особи в секторі безпеки та в правоохоронних органах будуть оцінені.
Хочу, щоб мене сьогодні почули й усі, від кого залежить надзвичайно чутливе питання призначення нового керівника Спеціалізованої антикорупційної прокуратури. Моя позиція як Президента України – конкурс, який відбувся, має привести до цілком логічного рішення про призначення нового керівника. Відповідна людина обрана, і від конкурсної комісії залежить фіналізація цього рішення».
