Description
Русский: 31 января друзья и товарищи прощались с Иваном Андреевичем Балакаем, командиром батальона 11 полка Народной милиции Донецкой Народной Республики, который погиб 29 января при отражении атаки ВСУ на позиции Народной милиции.

До военного конфликта на Донбассе Иван Андреевич был человеком мирной профессии, строителем. В 2014 году, когда посланные киевским режимом войска начали убивать мирных жителей городов Донбасса, он стал одним из первых, кто пришел в ополчение, чтобы дать им отпор.

Иван Андреевич выбрал себе позывной «Грек» и с этим позывным принял участие во многих боях с украинским нацистами, стал командиром батальона бригады «Восток», а затем, после преобразования ополчения в регулярную армию - Народную Милицию ДНР, стал командиром батальона 11 полка.

Он погиб, вытаскивая из-под огня раненых товарищей, военнослужащих своего батальона, пострадавших при отражении атаки ВСУ.
