Description
Español: Según datos de ACNUR, a mediados del pasado año, la cifra de personas desplazadas en todo el mundo alcanzaba ya los 70 millones. Más números: la Organización Internacional de Migraciones, en su informe de 2018, constataba el incremento de casi 90 millones de personas migrantes en década y media (1990 a 2015), pasando de 153 millones a 244. Tradicionalmente la causa de la migración había que buscarla en el trabajo o en la familia. Ahora a ella se suman de manera dramática los conflictos y las persecuciones. En Siria, por ejemplo, un país con una herencia histórica y cultural increíble, a raíz de los conflictos, 470.000 personas han sido asesinadas y el 80 % de la población vive en la pobreza. El 55 % de su población se ha tenido que desplazar de su lugar de origen.
