Coast Guardsmen with Monomoy assisted six Iranian mariners who had to abandon their vessel, Ya-Hussayn, after its engine room flooded. The patrol boat is assigned to Commander, Task Force 55, supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
