Description
Deutsch: Wandmosaik Planung und Bau eines Wohnhauses von Paul Meissner aus dem Jahr 1952, Siemensweg, Ecke Leopoldauer Straße 107, Wien-Floridsdorf. Das Mosaik thematisiert den Wiederaufbau und Neubau nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg. In der Bildmitte befindet sich der damalige Stadtrat für Bauangelegenheiten Franz Jonas mit Plankarten und der Bürgermeister Theodor Körner. Ein Ingenieur in einem weißen Kittel, Bauarbeiter und Frauen, die Mörtel tragen, arbeiten gerade an einem Wohnbau. Das Bild soll die Rolle der Stadtverwaltung am Wiederaufbau und die Wohnbautätigkeit im Allgemeinen betonen. (Quelle: Wiener Wohnen)
