Summary[edit]

Description From left, U.S. Coast Guard 65-foot harbor tug boats USCGC Hawser (WYTL 65610), USCGC Line (WYTL 65611) and USCGC Wire (WYTL 65612) steam together on the Hudson River north of New York City Feb 21, 2013, to celebrate 50 years since being commissioned in 1963. With the primary mission of ice breaking, the tugs keep New York Harbor and the Hudson River open to facilitate shipping during winter months.
