Description
Deutsch: Ein Mannschaftsfoto der Fußballer vom Hannoverschen Fußball-Club von 1896, dem späteren Verein Hannover 96, aufgenommen am 2. Juni 1901 auf dem Spielplatz auf der Bult in Hannover. Das Foto ist die einzige bekannte Hannover-Fotografie mit dem ersten Ausländer des Vereins, dem aus Basel stammenden Schweizer Uhrmacher Max Senn, der hier in der Mitte der unteren Reihe sitzt und den Ball hält. Das Lichtbild entstand nach dem Mitgliederentscheid des Vereins, zukünftig nur noch mit einem runden Ball anstelle des zuvor verwendeten ovalen Balles zu spielen, und anlässlich des Spiels HFC v. 1896 gegen Eintracht Braunschweig. Das Spiel endete 2:2 unentschieden.
