Description
Deutsch: Um 1910 von dem Fotografen August Bies gefertigte Aufnahme am Postkamp vor dem Alten St.-Nikolai-Friedhof Ecke Am Klagesmarkt. Die Momentaufnahme hält die Formation einer Übungs-Kompanie des Hannoverschen Train-Bataillons Nr. 10 fest, bei der zahlreiche Soldaten, viele mit Pickelhaube, zu Pferde oder mit Kutschwagen und Anhängern mit Planen auf ihren Abmarsch-Befehl warten. Im Hintergrund sind die - später großteils während der Luftangriffe auf Hannover durch Fliegerbomben zerstörten - Häuser am Klagesmarkt Ecke Theodorstraße zu erkennen, teilweise auch ihre im Erdgeschoss sitzenden Firmen.


Der auf einer Pappe aufgezogene Fotoabzug mit den Maßen circa 18 x 23,5 cm ist hinter ein mit weißer Kalkfarbe bestrichenen Passepartouts mit den Maßen circa 26,5 x 33,5 geklebt. Daher konnte die Aufnahme nicht vollständig plan auf dem Scanner aufliegen. In mehreren Stunden Findungs-Arbeit haben die beiden Mitglieder vom Team des Wikipedia-Büros Hannover zuletzt einen Scan mit 1200 dpi im tif-Format gefertigt, der anschließend durch das jpeg-Format in der Größe reduziert wurde. Der vorliegende Scan ist an den Seitenrändern aufgrund des mitgescannten und dann elektronisch "abgeschnittenen" Passepartouts sich weniger scharf als wünschenswert.

Das Revers trägt eine blauen Stempelabdruck, in einem Jugendstil-Rahmen den Text
