Summary

[edit]
Description

LaSalle 1937 hearse. The commercial chassis was imported from the USA, with power coming from a Cadillac side valve V8 that originally powered a tank. The body panels were manufactured by Holden's, with final coachwork by Olding's Coachcraft in the Sydney suburb of Glebe. Upon completion of the full restoration the car became available for use through Classic Funeral Coaches. Taken at the 2002 NSW All GM Day, held in the grounds at Penrith Panthers Club.
