English: Can't be many of these first generation Vauxhall Astras left now. This is a late model, registered on the 1st January 1984, the last year of production before the Mark 2 was released.
This car is a GTE model. Do you reckon it's a one owner car, as the date of liability was the 1st January 2007. Sad to hear it's unlicensed- that might mean it'll head to the scrap man in the future, although looking at it, it looks incredibly solid, but displaying that usual Vauxhall red paint fade. I imagine it's been under cover for much of its 6 years off the roads, as it just looks too good. A shame also it has no badges. I had to double check on Cartell to find out what this vehicle was. It is certainly a stark contrast to the car it's parked next to, an almost 30 year younger Peugeot 207 SW. Mais la première Opel Astra elle, ne voit le jour qu’en 91, soit un décalage de 12 ans ou 2 générations entre les gammes, uniquement au niveau de la désignation car les carrosseries sont rigoureusement identiques au logo près... Surtout, ses concepteurs ne se doutaient sans doute pas que 40 ans plus tard, le patronyme serait toujours en vigueur pour désigner la compacte allemande, même après le rachat des 2 constructeurs par PSA aux dépens de GM ! |
