Summary[edit]

Description Some of the 150 children from Virginia and Maryland, participated in the 4-H Youth Science Day “Wired for Wind”. The 4H youth design and cut out paper wind generator blades at the National 4-H Conference Center in Chevy Chase, MD, on Wednesday, October 5, 2011. USDA and the 4-H are working to develop the next generation of scientists, engineers and technologists to help our nation recapture its status as a leader in these fields. USDA Photo by Lance Cheung.
