Description
English: The main building of the Rijksluchtvaartschool (RLS), a former aviation school in Eelde, a village in the Dutch province of Drenthe.
Frysk: It haadgebou fan de eardere Rijksluchtvaartschool (RLS) yn Eelde, sjoen út it súdwesten wei. It kompleks waard setten yn 1953-1957 nei in ûntwurp fan de arsjitekt P.J.J.M. Cuypers (1891-1982) yn gearwurking mei F.P. Glastra van Loon (1923). It kleurûntwurp waard makke troch de keunstner Bart van der Leck (1876-1958) en it terrein waard ynrjochte nei in ûntwurp fan de túnarsjitekt Jan Vroom jr. (1893-1958). De eardere RLS is in provinsjaal monumint (PM2-0255).
Nederlands: Het hoofdgebouw van de voormalige Rijksluchtvaartschool (RLS) in Eelde. Het complex werd gebouwd in 1953-1957 naar een ontwerp van P.J.J.M. Cuypers i.s.m. F.P. Glastra van Loon, het kleurontwerp werd gemaakt door Bart van der Leck en de inrichting van het terrein werd verzorgd door Jan Vroom jr.. De voormalige RLS is een provinciaal monument (PM2-0255).
