Summary[edit]

Description

Ok, so it was a little warm today, +44 degrees and I thought it was time to go out and take some pictures of my new wheels.

I bought it from a Renault dealership (Brighton Renault) in Victoria and the price was simply too good to go past. Having only two Renault dealerships in the whole of South Australia, kind of limits you, hence why I've bought again from Victoria. Plus, this was the colour I wanted and in the spec, so it was meant to be.

It's a 2013 plate, so a year old and was a car used by Renault Australia's HQ in Melbourne, so had 25,000km's on the clock. I've had it for 3 weeks now and I've already put 2,000km's on it. I've had a few long distance trips, so I've really been able to put the fuel consumption to the test and it's averaged 6.4L/100km, which is fantastic!!

That's better than the Laguna, which I'd get around 7.4L/100km. I sold the Laguna in a week for $13,500AUD and the Latitude was $23,500AUD, so it was a $10,000AUD change over for me. Renault's resale values are only starting to improve, which is why I was able to get the Latitude at such a good price. Brand new the Latitude Privilege is $49,000AUD, plus on road costs, which would put it up to around the $52,000AUD drive away!

The list of features is endless!

Front and Rear Parking Sensors Reversing Camera Panoramic Glass Roof Front and Rear sunroof Leather Seats Heated Front Seats Driver Seat that massage's your back BOSE premium sound system USB/Aux points/CD player SAT NAV Bluetooth Keyless entry - As long as you have the Renault card/key in your pocket, you just need to touch the door handle and the car unlocks itself. The same when you walk away from the car, as long as you have the key in your pocket, the car will lock itself. Keyless start - Just sit the key in the console and press the start button and it starts, you don't need to put it in the slot. Dual Climate Air Condition - Front and Rear passengers.

I had the windows tinted last week, but I'm also going to get a rear slim boot lid spoiler, a rear wing (smoked) for the back window, as well as slimline weathershields (smoked) for the front and rear doors.
