Description

The fifth generation began with the 2005 model year, and received a facelift in 2010 and again in 2013. In 2007, Ford's Special Vehicle Team launched Shelby GT500 reminiscent of the 1960s cars. For 2013, the GT500 was the most potent Mustang ever, it got a supercharged 5.8 V8 putting out 662hp, a top speed of 200mph. Super Snake option also available at 850hp. Even tho the 6th generation Mustang had started to be produced, in late 2014, Shelby American has decided to send off the 5th generation with a special edition. Based on the GT500, only 50 packages were offered on existing 2007-14 Shelby GT500s.

The Signature Edition package consisted of forged Weld wheels, a 3.6 Kenne Bell Supercharger, a Shelby Performance cooling package and upgraded rear brakes. There’s also a passenger air bag cover with a commemorative Carroll Shelby decal, stripes and “Super Snake” Signature Edition badges.
