Summary[edit]

Description 575 Broadway (569-575, also known as 85-91 Prince Street and 142-146 Mercer Street) at the corner of Prince Street in the SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City, was built in 1881-1882 and designed by Thomas Stent, and was originally owned by John Jacob Astor. Its ironwork is from Heurelmann & Co. The building has been the location of the Roger Peet Store (1940s, 1950s), the Guggenheim SoHo museum (1996, remodeled by Arata Isozaki), and currently Prada (2001, interior remodeled by Rem Koolhaas).
