Summary[edit]
Description5N-AOT BAC One-Eleven 320 Okada Air MAN JUL87 (12810510045).jpg |
English: Delivered new to Laker Airways in Apr-68 as G-AVYZ, it was repossessed by the finance company when Laker ceased operations in Feb-82. The aircraft was then sold to British Caledonian Airlines at the end of Mar-82 as G-BKAX. B.Cal only kept it for 18 months before it was sold to Okada Air in Nigeria in Sep-83 as 5N-AOT. In this photo it still has the old basic B.Cal livery, somewhat modified. It was damaged beyond repair in Sep-89 in a heavy landing at Port Harcourt, Nigeria. |
