Deutsch: Wappen der Marktgemeinde Hernstein
Polski: Herb Hernstein, Dolna Austria
English: Coat of arms of Hernstein, Lower Austria
Deutsch: In einem durch Deichselschnitt geteilten Schild oben in Blau zwei gekreuzte goldene Schlüssel, rechts in Grün ein silberner, gequaderter, auf natürlichem Felsen stehender, mit offenem Tor versehener, zinnenbekrönter Wehrturm, links in Silber eine grüne Föhre mit ebensolchem Stamm, der einen goldenen Harztopf trägt.
Deutsch: Am 19. Mai 1984 wurde der Marktgemeinde Hernstein dieses Wappen verliehen und die Dreiteilung soll die ehemaligen drei Gemeinden symbolisieren, wobei Hernstein durch den Wehrturm, Grillenberg durch die gekreuzten Schlüssel (Melker Schlüssel, Pfarre des Stiftes Melk), Kleinfeld durch die Föhre (erste urkundliche Erwähnung der Harzgewinnung) dargestellt sind. Die Gemeindefarben sind: blau-weiß-grün
