DescriptionAV-8B Harrier at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base 28 Oct 2010.jpg |
English: Marine Attack Squadron 211 Marines watch as Capt. Matthew Johnson, VMA-211 pilot, maneuvers an AV-8B Harrier onto the runway at the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, Ariz., Oct. 28, 2010, where they trained for their deployment with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit in early 2011. “I see it as good training for new Marines,” said Sgt. Phillip Belanger, VMA-211 airframes mechanic, who has deployed before. “The layout is more training for pilots, so that means more training for maintenance.” More than 100 Marines from VMA-211 and Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 13 returned to the Marine Corps Air Station in Yuma, Ariz., Oct. 30, 2010. |
