Description
English: A Paris street in the 15th century. Cutted, the barber and the furrier.
This manuscript was made at the beginning of the 16th century for Robert Stuart, Field-Mashal of France and Knight of the order of St. Michael.
Deutsch: Eine Pariser Straße im 15. Jahrhundert. Ausschnitt: Im Hintergrund bietet ein Kürschner Grauwerkpelz an. Rechts daneben ein Barbier.
Dieses ausgemalte Bild stammt aus dem „Buch der Regierung der Prinzen“, ins Französische übersetzt von einer lateinischen Urschrift des 13. Jahrhunderts für Robert Stuart, Marschall von Frankreich und Ritter des Ordens von Sankt Michael. Am unteren Teil der Miniatur sein Wappen, umgeben von der Ordenskette und auf einem Grund von gestreuten Spangen gemalt.
