English: A chart of the harbour of Louisbourg in the Island of Cape Breton.Single sheet. Engraved. Scale: 1:7 500 (bar). Cartographic Note: Variation shown 17 degrees 30' W. Ungraduated. Bar scales of one statute mile and fathoms. Contents Note: Shows roads, buildings, boundaries and fortifications. Some settlements and fortifications are only lightly engraved. There is one example of this chart in the collection. Imprint 1st October 1781. Hills hachured, wetland indicated. Printed on Bates paper. Border yellow, town red, settlements green; coast outlined in blue with paler wash on the sea. Red/brown coastal convention.
