English: A formerly secret installation of the military pharmacy (AApot). Operated by the San log Bat 81, a special military unit that mainly manufactures vital medicines for the swiss emergency service. The swiss federation itself has here once produced the Tamiflu vaccine by the army. It is no longer in use. Originally, it was once an ammunition dump. And there is a large funicular with metre gauge up into a railway tunnel for logistics. An ultrapure water facility is fed directly from a mountain stream. Everything is still classified. But the production facilities have been dismantled and were sold to Shanghai. Switzerland, Oct 1, 2015. |
