A silver croat issued by the kings of Aragon as counts of Barcelona, dating to 1412.
Description
English: Silver croat of Ferdinand I of Aragon as count of Barcelona (1412-16). Cayon, Cayon and Cayon No. 1766.

The type was introduced under Pedro III (1285-91) and carried on into the 16th century, under Ferdinand V (the Catholic)

The coin was rolled up when found but has been unrolled since. The coin has also been pierced, perhaps for re-use as a pendant.
