The church of St. Lambertus in Erkelenz, also known as Immerather Dom, was demolished on January 8 and 9, 2018, to make way for the Garzweiler II open-pit lignite mine.

Deutsch: Die Kirche St. Lambertus in Erkelenz, auch Immerather Dom genannt, wurde am 8. und 9. Januar 2018 abgerissen, um Platz zu machen für den Braunkohletagebau Garzweiler II. Diese Aufnahme stammt vom 9. Januar und zeigt den Abbruch des rechten Kirchturmes. Dokumentarisches Video.
Polski: Kościół św. Lamberta (potocznie Immerather Dom) w Immerath, części miasta Erkelenz, który został rozebrany w dniach 8–9 stycznia 2018 roku, aby umożliwić rozbudowę odkrywkowej kopalni węgla brunatnego Garzweiler II. To nagranie zarejestrowane 9 stycznia pokazuje wyburzanie prawej wieży kościoła.
