Few artists are as successful as Garrett indrawing both figures and landscapes, and because of this faculty he is able to give a round-ness and completeness to his work which we often vainly look for in the drawings of othermen. The dainty little designs, which he so happily devises for vignettes and tail-pieces, arealso admirable, and must be awarded their share of commendation.
