The actual circuits of such a systemadapted to common battery talking and signaling is shown in Fig. 325- This, as will be seen, employs four ringing keys, 1, 2, 3 and 4, inthe cord circuit, the operation of any one of which will cause thebell of the correspondingly numbered station on the line with whichthe calling plug is connected, to ring.
