Another inn frequented by Otis and onewhich will probably outlive all its contem-poraries in the endurance of its fame is theGreen Dragon, which Daniel Webster oncepronounced the headquarters of the Revo-lution. Here Warren, John Adams andPaul Revere all assembled and plotted andhere used to resort hundreds of patriots forthe express purpose of conferring with theirchiefs. The house was kept in 1712 byRichard Pullin; in 1715 by Mr. Pattoun;in 1734 by Joseph Kilder; in 1769 by JohnGary and in 1771, when it became the placeof meeting of the Revolutionary Club, byBenjamin Burdick.
