Description
English: Title: An American RC club for American women workers in the Liverpool district. The RC has furnished rooms in the Midland Adelphi Hotel exclusively for the numerous American women employed by the army and navy or the RC in this district. It is also open to nurses and women workers who are in Liverpool for a few hours en route to their posts in England or France. There are writing materials, American newspapers and magazines, and various much-appreciated home comforts, and best of all, always the certainty of meeting here congenial American women engaged in the Great Work
