Description
English: Fleuron from book:
An elegy: or funeral poem on the much lamented death of the pious and painful, learn'd and eminent servant of Christ, Mr. Alexander Hamilton, late Minister of the Gospel at Stirling. To which is prefix'd An elegiack poem, to the memory of the Great, the Famous and deservedly esteem'd Person, the Reverend Mr. James Cuthbert sometime Minister of the Gospel at Culross. Written both in English and Latin some Years ago, but never before publish'd; the Author taking this Occasion, because of the sweet Harmony and Intimacy that once took place between these Two Great Men. Also, Smoaking spiritualiz'd: a short poem. By the Reverend Mr. Ralph Erskine. Minister of the Gospel at Dumfermling.
