Text Appearing Before Image:
c thru theShop, Used Car area. Parking area, or Showroom.The Used Car Area is directly across the mainentrance from the Showroom and Offices. Theseparation is accomplished by means of a concretecurb and iron chains on metal posts. Because of fire hazard, the Shop is separatedfrom the other portions of the building by meansof a high masonry fire wall. This wall, incidently,lowers the insurance rates. The design of the building is Contemporary. Thewall surfaces are light plaster and the trim is aqua-blue. A broad fin projects over the Showroomwindows, protecting automobiles and trucks ondisplay from the glare of the sun. A large pylon infront together with the rear wall, supports the largesign extending over the roof. The letters are Dodge-Blue against a background of off white. Around the show windows is a 2-foot plantingstrip which adds considerably to the attractive-ness of the entire building and surrounding area. The entire area not actually occupied by thenew building is paved. 30
