One alertrestaurant organization has evaluated this desirefor change and regularly schedules frequentchanges of Color Plans. Other up-to-date firms aregoing even further and they repaint their interiorsseasonally. Executives, too, are insisting upon theuse of color in what were once drab offices as anescape from this same monotony. On every handthere has been enthusiastic reception of this newconcept of color in architecture. DREYER, Architect A recent State Legislative Report gave Mult-nomah countys Rocky Butte Jail the highest rat-ing for the state, while the Federal Bureau ofPrisons, department of justice, rated it among thetop 12 or 15 jails of its kind in the nation. The jail averages about 250 prisoners, includ-ing Federal, but has no juveniles. It is outstanding for its cleanliness and sanita-tion well equipped laundry where all bedding,towels and prisoners uniforms are laundered reg-ularly; ample bathing, washing and toilet facili-ties; well equipped kitchen and hospital.
