English: Artemis hunting a stag, surrounded by Zeus (left), Nikê (top) and Apollo (right). The goddess is wielding a torch like a spear, the torch refering to her role as the bringer of light. Attic red-figured pelike. From S. Agata dei Goti (Campania, South Italy).
Français : Artémis chassant un cerf, entourée de Zeus (gauche), Niké (la Victoire, couronnant la scène) et Apollon (droite). La déesse se sert d'une torche pour lance, la torche rappelant son rôle de porteuse de lumière. Péliké attique à figures rouges. Trouvé à S. Agata dei Goti (Campanie, Italie du Sud).
