Deutsch: Schloss Johannisburg in Aschaffenburg diente als zweite Residenz der Mainzer Erzbischöfe und Kurfürsten. Das heutige Schloss wurde in der Zeit von 1605 bis 1614 vom Straßburger Baumeister Georg Ridinger als Bauwerk der Renaissance an alter Stelle neu erbaut.
English: Johannisburg Palace in Aschaffenburg served as the second residence of the archbishops and electors of Mainz. The present castle was rebuilt on the old site by the Strasbourg master builder Georg Ridinger as a Renaissance construction between 1605 and 1614.
