EnaJ.Miles Excursions. GRATZ. 32. Route. 243 castle, the starting-point for a visit to the Schwanberg Alps. — The traingoes on, past the handsome Schloss Hollenegg, to (34 M.) Schwanberg;the little town (Hot. Mollak) lies 3 M. to the W. The last station is(41i/2 M.) Wies (1120 ft.; Knrz), pleasantly situated on the Weisse Sulm,with blast-furnaces, coal-pits, and an old castle. The road from Deutsch-Landsberg (p. 242), crosses the Lassnitz, andascends to the right, via (2i/2 hrs.) Trahutten (3265 ft.; Alpen Inn) andthe Parfuss Inn (3238 ft.; fine view), to (li/a hr.) St. Maria or Glas-hiltten (4185 ft.; inn). Thence we follow the road to the right to the(1V4 hr.) Weinebene (5465 ft.), the boundary between Styria and Carinthia;we now follow a path by the fence to the left, skirting the E. slopes ofthe Brandlhohe (6100 ft.) and the MoschZcogel (6283 ft.), to the (1 hr.) de-pression (5725 ft.) between the Hilhnerstiitzen and the Moschkogel, inwhich, a little below, is the Grillitsch-HUt
