Description
English: View of Bonn (predominant Federal Quarter) from a medow in front of the former “Eifelblick-Hütte” (Eifel view hut) just below the hill “Zickelburg” (176 m) in Bad Honnef. In Bonn the Post Tower and the United Nations Building Langer Eugen can be seen, on the right the Drachenfels (Dragon's Rock) mountain. The formerly existing view of the Eifel was destroyed by new trees which obstruct the view.
Deutsch: Blick Richtung Bonn von der Wiese vor der (im Januar 2010 abgebrannten und Ende 2011 in veränderter Form neu aufgebauten) „Eifelblick-Hütte“ direkt unterhalb des Berges „Zickelburg“ (176 m) in Bad Honnef. In Bonn ist der Post Tower und das zum United Nations Campus gehörende Gebäude Langer Eugen zu erkennen, rechts der Drachenfels. Die früher vorhandene Aussichtsmöglichkeit auf die Eifel ist mittlerweile nicht mehr gegeben, da das Gebiet in diese Richtung fast gänzlich zugewachsen ist.
