| Description |
English: Beech Trees, Chanctonbury Ring The first trees were planted by Charles Goring from Wiston House below in 1760, however, they were blown down in the hurricane of 1987. These were replanted by a descendent soon after and are now maturing. These trees are between the earthwork bank which probably had a defensive wall and the ditch below. |
