Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Boeing XBFB-1 (BuNo 8975) at the wind tunnel of the Langley Aeronautical Laboratory at Hampton, Virginia (USA). Initially built under the designation XF6B-1, the Boeing model 236 came to the NACA under its new Navy designation, the XBFB-1. The fighter/bomber was the last fixed-gear biplane fighter design (as the XF6B) to be submitted to the U.S. Navy.
