Description
English: Tarvaspään tornia rakennetaan vuonna 1912.


Tarvaspää on taiteilija Akseli Gallen-Kallelan suunnittelema ja rakennuttama ateljeekoti Espoossa. Rakennustyöt saatiin päätökseen vuonna 1913 ja taiteilija perheineen asettui ateljeerakennukseen asumaan palattuaan taas vuosien poissaolon jälkeen vuonna 1926. Arkkitehtonisesti Gallen-Kallela halusi Tarvaspään suunnittelussa yhdistellä useita eri tyylejä – sakaraharjaista tornia on inspiroinut eurooppalainen ritariromantiikka.
