Konferenz der Innenminster der Bundesländer unter Vorsitz des Innenministers von Baden-Württemberg, Dietmar Schlee in der Landesvertretung Baden-Württemberg. Im Mittelpunkt der Gespräche über die weitere Zusammenarbeit mit der DDR standen das Polizeirecht und die Problematik der noch unterschiedlichen Einreiseerlaubnis für beide Länder nach Aufhebung der Kontrollen an den innerdeutschen Grenzübergängen. Von Seiten der DDR nahm der Minister für regionale und kommunale Angelegenheiten, Manfred Preiss an der Konferenz teil (anschließende Pressekonferenz).
