For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Kurt Weilert Zentralbild TED 28.1.1952 Vorbereitungen zu den III. Wintersportmeisterschaften 1951 1952 der DDR in Oberhof. UBz: DDR-Meister der Junioren im Eiskunstlauf Kurt Weilert trainiert im Oberhofer Eisstadion. Zu den Meisterschaften wird er die Rahmenveranstaltungen durch seinen Kunstlauf verschönen. Kurt Weilert sagt zu Schumanplan und Generalvertrag: "Gerade wir Sportler können den Schumanplan und den Generalvertrag nie billigen, denn unser Sport ist nur im Frieden möglich".
