ADN-ZB Grubitzsch 25.9.87 Leipzig: 75 Jahre Deutsche Bücherei- So sieht es in den Magazinen der "Büchertürme" aus, die die Deutsche Bücherei zur Erweiterung ihrer Kapazität erhalten hat. Im Oktober 87 begeht die Bücherei, das Gesamtarchiv des deutschsprachigen Schrifttums der Welt, ihr Jubiläum. Sie wurde 1912 gegründet und sammelt sämtliche Publikationen, die zwischen 1913 und 1945 im deutschen Reich und seit dem 8. Mai 1945 auf den Territorien der DDR, der BRD und von Berlin (West) herausgegeben wurden und werden. Die "DB" verfügt über einen Bestand von mehr als 8 Millionen Bibliographischen Einheiten.
