Eröffnung des Tierparks Berlin, mit Wilhelm Pieck

Zentralbild/Weiß 2.7.1955 Feierliche Eröffnung der Berliner Tierparks Am 2. Juli 1955 wurde in Anwesenheit des Präsidenten der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik, Wilhelm Pieck, und des Oberbürgermeisters von Groß-Berlin, Friedrich Ebert, der erste Teilabschnitt des neuen Tierparks in Berlin-Friedrichsfelde mit einer Fläche von 60 ha eröffnet. Viele Berliner hatten sich eingefunden um dem festlichen Ereignis beizuwohnen. UBz.: Präsident Wilhelm Pieck (Mitte) und (4. von rechts) Oberbürgermeister Friedrich Ebert beim Rundgang durch den Tierpark. (Rechts neben dem Präsidenten) der Direktor des Tierparks, Dr. Dathe.
