For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Milde Zentralbild Wendorf 24.06.1959 Leichtathletik-Abendsportfest im Jahn-Stadion. Am 24.06.1959 fand im Berliner Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn Stadion ein Leichtathletik-Abendsportfest statt. In einige Disziplinen mußten noch Ausscheidungen für die Fahrkarte nach London durchgeführte werden. UBz: Beim Diskuswerfen konnte sich Milde den zweiten Platz und damit die Fahrkarte nach London erkämpfen.
