Der Vorsitzende des Staatsrates der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik, Walter Ulbricht, hat 25 verdiente Persönlichkeiten der DDR in Anerkennung ihre großen Leistungen beim Aufbau des Sozialismus und im Kampf um den Frieden. hohe staatliche Auszeichnungen verleihen. Die feierliche Auszeichnung im Gebäude des Staatsrates in Berlin-Pankow nahm am 2. März der Stellvertreter des Vorsitzenden des Staatsrates Dr. Johannes Dieckmann, Präsident der Volkskammer der DDR, vor.

UBz: Oberst Gustav Szinda, Leiter der Bezirksverwaltung Neubrandenburg des Ministeriums für Staatssicherheit wurde mit dem Orden "Banner der Arbeit" ausgezeichnet.
