For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Leipzig, Universität, Chemielabor Zentralbild Raphael 17-4-69-Leipzig:Hochschulreform-Studenten arbeiten für die Praxis- Volker Kläß, Sabine Krumbach, Petra Nötzel und Bernd Hunger(vlnr) sind vier der 11 Studenten, die dem sozialistischen Studentenkollektiv der Sektion Chemie an der Leipziger Karl-Marx-Universität angehören. Im Praktikum und danach prüften sie ein Alkohol-Gemisch für eine kontinuierlich arbeitende Trennanlage für das Elektrochemische Kombinat Bitterfeld. Die Studenten erbrachten damit ein Beispiel dafür, wie in Zukunft ein wissenschaftlich-produktives Studium an der Sektion beschaffen sein kann.
