A 89-year-old man named Chet Boeur from Loun Chong Village has four children. He is indigenous Tampuan from Ou Chum District, Ou Chum Commune, Ratanakiri Province. He is picking tobacco leaves in the Ghost Forest. The grandmother who is from the Ghost Forest says: "What are we going to do if the Ghost Forest is gone?" When conducting a traditional ghost festival, the indigenous people keep celebrating at home for three, five or seven nights, but most of them do so for only five nights. It is not possible to honour the ghosts for two nights, four or six nights. |
