Description Fahne einer Burschenschaft in Pirna. Ihr Name: "Tertia Pirna". Ich vermute, dass die Burschenschaft durch den 1. Weltkrieg ausgelöscht wurde und ein paar von denen nur überlebten und daher die Postkarten mit den Jahreszahlen ausgegeben wurden. Das Monogramm beinhaltet die Buchstaben: E,F,V,T,P (Ehre, Freiheit, Vaterland [allgemeine Burschenschafts-Losung], Tertia [Name der Burschenschaft], Pirna [Ort der Burschenschaft]). Mit dem scharfen Geist eines zweiseitigen Hiebschwertes. In der stählernen Kraft der Umsetzung seiner Gedanken! Tertiat ist angelehnt an das lat. Wort Tertia, was bei katholischen Orden im Mittelalter eine als Phase vor der entgültigen Prüfung des Studiums bezeichnet wurde. Das bedeutet, dass dies eine katholische Burschenschaft gewesen ist. Das die in der Nähe des Klosters von Pirna oder des Dohnaischen Platzes gewesen sein müssten. Die Burschenschaft gehörte wohl zur Universität Dresden. Es war üblich, dass Studenten sich in Kleinstädten niedergelassen hatten. Das waren so Untermieter irgendwo. Das Sozialverhalten war früher stärker gewesen und wollten eben das einfache Leben kennenlernen.
