Notes: Band that played in the French Quarter of New Orleans, usually on Royal Street at or near St. Peter Street, for years in the 1980s into the early 1990s. Went by names including "Augie Jr.'s Big Mess Blues Band" (Augie on guitar at lower right) and "Ragtime Annie's Primitive Jazz Band" (Ragtime Annie, aka Lissa Driscoll, on washboard at upper right). |
